Big W Bargains!

Yesterday I went on a very special shopping trip for a very special little girl but I managed to pick up a few bargains for Little Man Tate too and thought I'd share them with you all. 

Big W has a huge sale on at the moment - according to the colour of the sticker stuck over the price tag you can get 40, 50 or even 60% off! If you haven't been already it's well worth a look!!

The sale rails were chaotic to say the least and I almost couldn't be bothered but luckily it was reasonably quiet so I just focused on looking for the hangers with the yellow size 2 on them and persevered. Tate doesn't really need any more clothes for this season so I was very selective in what I picked up although I have been keeping my eye out for warm stuff to take to Tasmania next week. 

Here's what I bought - the 4 items came to approx $25.

Long-sleeved dinosaur playing football t-shirt - Tate is seriously into dinosaurs at the moment!

Love the royal blue of this tee - makes my boy's beautiful eyes stand out even more! 

What a funky shirt for our holiday to Tassie - soft, brushed flannelette to keep LMT warm but trendy too!

This is actually an age 3 jacket but it was $11 and I just couldn't leave it behind!! I'll pack it away for next year. I especially love the pleated detail along either side of the buttons. 

Some pretty cool bargains huh?! 

Saturday Stylin!

Although we had no real plans yesterday I'm determined to get good wear out of as much of Tate's Winter wardrobe as I can before the weather starts warming up again! Saying that it was early twenties yesterday so I think my days of cute jumpers, jeans & boots are definitely limited!! 

I decided on this super cute grey marl shirt with a false-underlayer of colourful checked flannel & cute stripey button details. Paired with green jeans and Tate's favourite Thomas the Tank shoes it was a definite winner.

No more time-hops!

It had to happen sooner or later - I've caught up with the beginning of the blog so there's not much point in travelling back in time because I have already dedicated posts to most of my favourite outfits from April onwards! 

I am currently trying to think of a new regular feature and will be back once I come up with something interesting to share...

Sunday Stylin!

Today we had a lunch date with good friends at the Skiff Club in Manly and I knew just the t-shirt to make its debut. I also thought I'd try out a funky grey beanie I bought from a local Northern Beaches Mum's business - Tiny Travellers - although I had limited success with keeping it on Tater Tot's head!!

Saturday Stylin!

After a 3-hour morning nap, LMT woke up a super-refreshed and happy little man and was quite the character when I was trying to take some pics for this post. We didn't go anywhere special today - just to the mall to run a few errands, have some lunch and do the food shopping but I jumped on the chance to dress him in something other than track-suit bottoms and thought this blue check and denim outfit was perfect for a warm Winter's day.

This week we hop back to my Birthday month and the first pic is from my celebration lunch with friends and I remember feeling so immensely proud of my perfect, handsome little man - definitely my greatest achievement in my 32 years on this planet!

Saturday Stylin!

Yay! The little man is better and we've had a lovely family weekend enjoying the beautiful Winter sunshine. 

Yesterday we went to the amazing Moscow Circus at Hinkler Park in Manly and Tater Tot was absolutely mesmerized!!

His outfit, this week, was a bit of nod to the new Prince in the UK - with trousers from M&S and a 'London' t-shirt by Gap which was given to Tate by my dear friend Sammy. I wonder if M&S and Gap are good enough for the new Royal Highness?!!

Anyway, enough blabbing from me - here's our boy... I've already credited his outfit apart from the cardigan (by Zara Kids) and shoes by Lily & Dan @ Aldi so here goes:-
